LabMix Mini 201 is compact laboratory hand-held mixer. The mixer is designed to be held like standard laboratory pipetters and have simillar size and grip. The mixer can work with different samples and various laboratory tubes, using special rod-shaped mixing probes. The key feature is that mixing rods do not lock in the mixer adaptor. The rod is placed in the tube. When the mixer adaptor catches the rod and starts rotating, the rod is held by centrifugal force. When mixing stops, the rod falls out of the adaptor. It allows to process a large number of samples without manually replacing mixing rods when moving from sample to sample. LabMix Mini 201 mixer can be used to mix, resuspend and homogenize different samples. The mixer is very efficient assistant in DNA, RNA and proteins isolation procedures. Especially efficient application field of the mixer is working with magnetic nanoparticles. This devices allow to completely avoid such labour-intensive procedure as manual pipetting. It is a proven fact that shaking most sorbents (including magnetic particles) on vortex does not allow to achieve as perfect resuspending as it is provided by manual pipetting. In the same time pipetting requires significant time costs and causes high consumption of plastic disposables. The mixer provides as thorough resuspending as it can be achieved with manual pipetting, but in shorter time and using only one disposable rod for the whole isolation procedure. LabMix Mini 201 mixer shows maximum efficiency in isolation procedures when used in combination with high-quality magnetic nanoparticles and good magnetic rack. Powerful handheld laboratory mixer Sileks LabMix Mini 201 is designed for mixing and homogenizing of different samples in standard laboratory tubes. The mixer creates strong turbulent flows in liquids utilising special rod-shaped probes. The flows provide soft and efficient mixing of the tube contents.
The mixer can be used to make DNA/RNA/proteins isolation procedures faster and easier, to help with sample homogenization and lysis and many other typical laboratory routines.
LabMix Mini 201 has variable speed and three memory buttons to save most frequently used speeds. When continuous mixing is required the mixer can be connected to external power supply.
