The kit is designed to isolate microRNAs of plasma, serum, saliva, spinal fluid, urine. The main advantages of the kit:

- phenol-free isolation

- high efficiency

- reproductivity.

In the isolation procedure, aggressive and toxic substances such as phenol, chloroform, and guanidine salts are not used.

The kit is designed and based on SileksMagNA-Direct particles, which have a unique ability to capture short oligonucleotides in lenght from 2-3 nucleotide bases. For the maximum efficiency to capture of fragments those are less than 10 nucleotides, we have developed a buffer composition that ensure us an effective capture of such short oligos.

It is important that the kit isolates all nucleic acids from the sample - micro RNA, RNA, DNA. The content of long nucleic acids can be lower compared to standard kits for RNA and/or DNA isolation. Despite the fact that are isolated all types of nucleic acids, the kit is optimized at first to isolate micro RNA.

The identification of micro RNA allows to use minimally invasive diagnostic methods to identify a number of clinical diseases and disorders. An analysis of specific micro RNA creates unique potential for the early diagnosis of various pathologies.

It is different volume of starting sample is possible - from 100 to 300 μl - depending on the tasks and quantities of the detected micro RNA.

In the urine, micro RNAs are mainly in the composition of the exosos. In this form, they are well stored. This makes it possible for non -invasive diagnosis of a number of clinical diseases and disorders.
