FFPE (formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded samples)

Isolation of NA from FFPE (formalin-fixed parafin-embedded) tissues is usually a difficult task.

With our specially designed kit it is no more a problem.

Included buffers help to carry out cleaning procedure and to recover NA, chemically modified by formalin during fixation.

The only exception is the situation, when fixation was done incorrect and resulted in unrecoverable damage to NA. Depending on the quality of the fixation procedure the approximate length of isolated NA may vary from 100 to 800 bp. It must be kept in mind when designing primers or other test systems.
