SileksMag-Protein A magnetic particles with protein A are designed for implementation of immunophytrapy and coin-power transmission procedures, as well as for the rapid and reproducible isolation of antibodies from plasma, serum, cell cultures and other fluids containing antibodies. Using particles is also possible in automatic discharge systems.
Magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A contain the recombinant Protein A, immobilized on an inert suface forming a particle shell. Protein A binds with Fc antibodies and it gives the possibility to capture antibodies of different types.
The main advantages of the proposed particles:
- high capacity
- low non-specific binding
- possibility of multiple usage
- great resuspendability
- Particle capacityapprox. 200 μg of human IgG / mg of particles
- Concentration5 mg/mL
- Size300-400 nm
- CoreIron oxide (III) encapsulated in an inert shell
- MagnetisationSuperparamagnetic (no residual magnetization)
- Particle shapeSphere
- Storage bufferPBS pH 7.3, 0.02% Tween-20, 0.1% NaN3
- Storage+4°C
- TransportationNo special conditions required
