Magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A with protein A are used for isolation, immobilization and immunoglobulin detection. Protein A has a different affinity for different classes and subclasses of immunoglobulins. Magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A with protein A can be considered as "universal" particles for operating with immunoglobulins.

Magnetic particles with protein A can be effectively used to selectively isolate unique cells and others components from biogical fluid (proteins, macromolecules). The presented photo demonstrate the possibility of selective isolation of red blood cells from whole blood. We showed that the separation of cells is more effective in case if antibodies are bound at first to the surface of the cells, and then with antibodies "labeled" cells are captured using magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A. Always is needed correctly calculate the amount of antibodies to amount of magnetic particles taking into account the binding capacity of particles. |
