Protein A
Magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A with protein A are used for isolation, immobilization and immunoglobulin detection. Protein A has a different affinity for different classes and subclasses of immunoglobulins. Magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A with protein A can be considered as "universal" particles for operating with immunoglobulins.

Magnetic particles with protein A can be effectively used to selectively isolate unique cells. The presented photo demonstrate the possibility of selective isolation of red blood cells from whole blood. We showed that the separation of cells is more effective in case if antibodies are binded at first to the surface of the cells, and then with antibodies "labeled" cells are separated using magnetic particles SileksMag-Protein A. If right calculation of the number of taken antibodies and capacity of the added magnetic particles is done then the stage of washing from unbinded antibodies may be eliminated. |
